Surveillance Video Adds Two Security Cameras in One to its Product Line with the KPC-670 Dual CCD Camera
New York, NY (PRWEB) June 5, 2007 -- Surveillance Video has introduced the KPC-670 dual CCD night vision security camera to consumers, who are looking for the ultimate in surveillance. According to Surveillance Video, “Many surveillance camera consumers find themselves in need of both, the low light capability that most monochrome cameras offer and color daylight features that provide greater details during the day time applications. The KPC-670 offers users the best of a monochrome and a color camera combined in one. By using two separate CCD’s the KTC-670 is able to eliminate Infrared bleeding effects commonly experienced by single CCD day night cameras.”
The KPC-670 has two 1/3” Sony SuperHAD CCDs, one monochrome and one color. A built in photocell sensor automatically switches between the two cameras, depending on the surrounding light conditions, so that only one CCD is in use at any given time. This dual sensor design allows the security cameras to operate at peak performance under either day or night conditions thus achieving superior color and monochrome reproduction without even the slightest distortion.
The KPC-670 uses an extremely high resolution CCD chip of 550 TVL for outstanding daytime performance. At night-time the 420 line monochrome CCD with exceptional IR sensitivity takes over, aided by 30 strategically positioned infrared illuminators, otherwise known as IR LED’s, providing a clear image at distances of up to 130 feet away from the camera.
